Technology used for evil (sort of):
New US Military Heat Ray: this thing heats it's targets skin to an 'uncomfortable' 130F. Ouch.

The Heat Ray is nice.
Don't think it'll work very well in Iraq though.
These people are loony enough to strap bombs on themselves and run towards the target -- is an uncomfortable heat sensation going to stop them? ;)
