Some guy in Germany got a DUI while in his electric wheelchair. He's been told he cannot use an electric wheelchair for the next three months, only a normal/manual one.

So then by this logic everytime we're drinking in Matt's backyard and I bike home I'm comitting DUI.
I thought the purpose of DUI was because you could seriously injure/kill a person in a motor vehicle.
I guess an electric chair is a "motor" vehicle technically, but come on. Unless it was fit with a 150 HP car enine I doubt it would do much damage :)
Same with a bike :)
I wonder what the law is here on that. It'd be interesting to see.
