After reading Sara's excellent "open letter to Stephen Harper", this post seems like a waste of internet space. However, it is a question that must be asked. Philosophers have debated it for years, and at the bar last night we got into it again. Now, I ask the internet community at large (or at least the half-dozen people who read my blog):
